“Holding My Brother Till I Return Is Diabolical” – Regina Daniels Slams Ned Nwoko Over Alleged Arrest Of Her Brother

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken to social media to challenge her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, over the alleged arrest of her brother and his apparent attempts to draw her back into the marriage.

On her Instagram story, Daniels described the situation as “diabolical” and questioned whether her husband’s actions were driven by love or obsession.

“This is no case of kidnapping! Holding my brother down till I return is diabolical!! What do I call this now? Love or obsession? You have always said I am the most useless wife. Why then do you need that useless wife back? Free my brother! No matter what he did, his parents and family should be able to see him, Nigerian Police!! Free Sammy West,” she wrote.

According to reports on Monday night, Daniels had appealed to the public after alleging that Nwoko had her brother arrested to pressure her into returning to him and to a rehabilitation programme. She claimed she had been trying to remain calm and urged her husband to leave her family alone.

In a subsequent post, the actress stated that her brother had been beaten like a criminal by the Nigerian police and questioned the justification for the violent arrest. She also accused Nwoko of using his influence, wealth, and connections to intimidate her.

Daniels further declared that their dispute would serve as a battle of power, insisting that she does not regret her past: “My marriage to Ned was a path I was meant to take, but not my ultimate destination.”

This comes after Daniels previously alleged that she faced domestic violence during her marriage. A viral clip showed the actress in tears, claiming that she was not treated as a queen in Nwoko’s household.

In response, Nwoko publicly refuted her allegations, attributing the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” The senator also claimed that his attempts to get Daniels professional treatment were resisted and alleged that she had assaulted three domestic staff and damaged property within his home.
