Ehi Ogbebor Advises Women Against Dating Below Their Standard

Nigerian businesswoman and former partner of MC Oluomo, Ehi Ogbebor, has shared advice for women on love and relationships.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Ehi urged women never to settle for men below their standard. Drawing from her personal experience, she recounted a past relationship with a man who was financially better off than her, but with whom she faced constant conflict. She described the relationship as filled with daily arguments, resentment, and aggression.

“You see, I am a believer in love and love love. I feel love is a blessing to humanity, but I am a believer in the fact that it is very unsafe as a woman to date below standard. Once dated a jerk. I was financially more capable, nah daily battle, resentment and aggression. Abeg I don talk my own, not all men but a lot my dear. A lot, e go be like say nah u cause their problems, if u like turn Mother Theresa on top the relationship, most never appreciate,” she said.

Ehi, who is also an interior designer, had previously addressed rumours about her love life. Last year, she clarified that no man had broken her heart in the past five years, noting that she had walked away from her relationships. “Ask my exes since them still dey alive,” she added.

Ehi first gained widespread attention during her relationship with MC Oluomo, which ended in 2021 following allegations that he impregnated a Yoruba actress. Reports suggested that actress Olayinka Solomon, a former partner of MC Oluomo, introduced Mariam Omo VC to him. Despite the breakup, Ehi and MC Oluomo have reportedly maintained cordial terms and continue to publicly praise one another.

In March last year, Ehi confirmed her current relationship status in a video with a mystery partner, revealing she has been dating the man for two years. She also cautioned the public about the negative effects of social media on love and relationships, advising couples to keep their private life discreet.

Ehi’s message underscores the importance of self-respect and careful choice in romantic relationships, drawing from her personal journey in love.
