“When I Become Head Of State, I Go Legalize Cannabis ” — Cubana Chief Priest Declares

Nigerian celebrity barman, socialite, and businessman Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred reactions after declaring his intention to legalize cannabis when he becomes Nigeria’s Head of State.

Taking to his Instagram page, the nightlife promoter questioned the origin and creator of cannabis, popularly called Cana. In his post, he wrote:

> “Please, Who Made Cana?

I Dey See Some Comments & I Just Dey Wonder, If Na Man Or God.
When I Become The Head Of State, Leh, Your Cana.
I Go Legalize Am. Chibuike (Nwa MamaYa) Out Now.”

The Cubana Group executive’s statement has sparked widespread debate online, with many Nigerians reacting to his bold declaration about the controversial substance.

Just a month earlier, Cubana Chief Priest had addressed criticisms over his inability to access urgent medical care, emphasizing how he remains one of the most influential figures in Nigeria’s entertainment and business scene.

He also trended recently after being spotted flying economy class, a move that surprised many of his followers. Responding, he advised Nigerians to be flexible, saying that what matters most is reaching one’s destination, regardless of travel class.

> “Whether first, business or economy class, e no matter, make you reach where you dey go,” he stated.

However, the nightlife mogul appeared to contradict himself in another post, where he encouraged people to “keep up a fake life”, insisting that “fake life brings real life.”

> “If you no add packaging to your life, you go suffer,” he wrote, explaining that appearing successful can open doors faster than being modest.

In yet another motivational message, Cubana Chief Priest emphasized the importance of having real friends, noting that he has thousands of loyal people who would lift him if he ever fell.

> “Even if I fall, I get over a thousand dudes wey go raise me. Life na about meeting and losing people, but make sure you dey chase real ones,” he advised.

Cubana Chief Priest, who is also known for his close friendship with superstar Davido, continues to attract attention with his mix of luxury lifestyle, controversial opinions, and social commentary.
