Big Brother Naija star Tacha Akide has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the most makeovers in a single day. On Saturday, the reality TV sensation launched her ambitious attempt to break the record, aiming to complete the highest number of makeover transformations in 24 hours.
The record attempt kicked off at 8:00 PM at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos, with fans and fellow celebrities cheering her on. High-profile personalities including Osas Ighodaro, Liquorose, Chichi, Ike, Cross, and more attended the event to show their support.
In an impressive feat, Tacha surpassed the previous record in less than 10 hours, completing 100 makeovers, overtaking the former record of 64 makeovers in 8 hours.
But the reality star is not stopping there. With at least 150 models scheduled to participate, Tacha and her team are working tirelessly through marathon makeup sessions to achieve the day’s ultimate goal.
This record-breaking attempt is part of her ongoing three-day Tacha Beauty Festival, running from October 10 to 12 at the same centre, showcasing her dedication to beauty and creativity.
