Popular Nigerian comedienne and actress, Anita Asuoha, better known as Warri Pikin, has issued a strong warning to people who keep asking about her due date.
Taking to her Instagram page, the soon-to-be mother of three shared a hilarious yet pointed video of herself playfully slapping her daughter after she asked when the baby would arrive.
Using the clip as a lighthearted example, Warri Pikin warned fans and friends who have been constantly prying into her pregnancy journey to desist.
In the caption, she wrote, “When people can’t stop asking you, ‘When are you giving birth?’ This na general warning to all of una wey dey always ask me. Real Warri Pikin ‘When you dey born nau’? You go collect wetin nor good.”
The comedian made it clear that the video served as a “general warning” to everyone who feels entitled to know her personal details, emphasizing that such questions, though seemingly harmless, can be insensitive.
Warri Pikin first announced her pregnancy in June while celebrating Father’s Day. She shared a heartwarming video showing off her growing baby bump and praised her husband, Ikechukwu, calling marrying him the best decision she ever made. According to her, he remains the best father to their children and her biggest supporter.
In September, the couple held a private gender reveal party with their kids. From the clip shared online, the pair are expecting another baby girl their third daughter.
Their only son, however, looked less than thrilled during the reveal, wearing a somber expression as his parents consoled him.
Warri Pikin later posted clips from her star-studded baby shower held on September 20th, where she and her husband stepped out in stunning matching white outfits.
The event was filled with laughter, music, and emotional moments as friends and family celebrated the new addition to their family.
In another video, the comedienne humorously showed the moment she woke her husband up in the middle of the night, complaining that he had the audacity to sleep while she was awake and restless because of the pregnancy. Before announcing her pregnancy, the entertainer and her husband celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in May.
