In a shocking development in Nollywood, actress Regina Daniels has made a gut-wrenching cry for help, accusing her husband, billionaire senator Ned Nwoko, of enduring domestic violence in their marriage. A viral video captures Regina in tears, surrounded by men, as she laments:
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house I am a queen. Not again, I cannot stand the violence, it is too much.”
Regina’s older brother, Sammy West — who also appeared in the footage attempting to defend her — took to his Instagram story to issue a blistering public call-out of Nwoko, which laid bare the extent of his anger and concern. In Pidgin he wrote:
“Makachi! E pain me say una wan finally laugh my sister. Let me repeat, anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood!”
“Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you run comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw.”
According to Sammy West, the alleged abuse was not an isolated occurrence — he claims Nwoko assaulted his sister, inflicted head trauma by smashing her skull against a wall, and then fled the scene before allegedly sending thugs to intimidate her.
The matter has attracted widespread attention and concern across social media, with many Nigerians calling for a formal investigation. Despite the gravity of the claims, Ned Nwoko has not yet issued a public statement in response.
Regina and Ned wed in 2019 and share two children. Their relationship has long been under public scrutiny due to the age difference and other controversies. Now, these fresh allegations of domestic violence threaten to upend what had been a glamorous public image of the couple.
