Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has called out his aide, Israel DMW, for posting videos from his twins’ 2nd birthday celebration held in Atlanta, United States.
Earlier on October 9th, reports confirmed that the singer and his wife, Chioma Rowland, marked their twins’ birthday in grand style. Davido had taken to his X (Twitter) page to celebrate the occasion with a heartwarming post that read simply, “J2.”
To mark the milestone, the couple hosted a lavish pink-themed birthday party for their twins. Viral clips from the event showcased the luxurious décor, vibrant setup, and exquisite menu that reflected Davido and Chioma’s taste for class and style.
However, Israel DMW, known for his loyalty and playful personality, shared videos from the event on his social media page, captioning it:
> “Oga’s very low-key 2-year birthday party for the twins. 12/10/2025.”
Reacting to the post, Davido found the statement ironic and quickly rebuked his aide for revealing what was meant to be a private family celebration.
> “Low-key, but you cast everything,” he replied.
Israel’s admiration for Davido is well-documented. Earlier in May, he had expressed deep gratitude to his boss while sharing videos of himself flying on a private jet to Abuja, acknowledging that his success and lifestyle were all thanks to the 30BG boss.
Israel has also credited Davido for helping him secure multiple international visas, including those to the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Canada. He once humorously described America as “46 minutes from Heaven” while thanking Davido for making his dreams of global travel come true.
In 2022, Israel publicly revealed that Davido had assisted him in obtaining a two-year UK visa. Overwhelmed with appreciation, he vowed that if given another life, he would still choose Davido, even referring to him as his “Lord and Saviour.”
This latest episode, however, has sparked mixed reactions among fans, with many defending Davido’s need for privacy while others found Israel’s “low-key” caption amusingly contradictory.
