Nigerian media personality and host Uti Nwachukwu has weighed in on the recent disqualification of BBNaija 2025 housemate Faith, following his altercation with female housemate Sultana.

The incident occurred during a house task, where Faith appeared dissatisfied with his colleague and threatened to continue the task alone. Sultana dared him, which escalated into a physical struggle over a bucket of ingredients. During the fracas, Sultana fell to the floor but was later captured on video returning to her feet and limping away.

As a result of violating the house’s code of conduct, Faith was disqualified from the show, joining the growing list of housemates who have faced early exits due to misconduct.

Reacting on his Twitter/X page, Uti Nwachukwu emphasized the importance of perspective in assessing the situation:

"Saw this and ALL I COULD THINK OF WAS FAITH.

In his own words – IT TAKES TWO.

Could she have acted better – YES!

Could he have handled it better? Yes!

A trigger is just as grave as a reaction. It is incredibly Narcīssistic to label the one who triggered/created/fueled the situation a VICTIM

And then label the one who reacted (without hitting the other) – an Abuser.

However, the onus is on us to learn to respond appropriately. Las las we are all human and our 20s are for Adulthood

 learning.

This is not defending anyone. It’s analysing what we all watched live—not internet clips.

Learn the lessons and dead sentiments – this is 2025, let’s be guided.”

Faith’s disqualification adds him to the list of former Big Brother Naija housemates removed from the show for breaches of conduct, including Beauty Tukura (2022), Erica Nlewedim (2020), Tacha Akide (2019), Khloe and K Brule (2018), and Kemen (2017).

Beauty remains the record holder as the fastest housemate to be disqualified, exiting after just 15 days due to an altercation with her then-boyfriend Groovy during a Saturday party. Other disqualifications include Erica (49 days), Tacha (89 days), Khloe and K Brule (22 days), and Kemen (44 days).

Reacting to Beauty’s exit, fellow housemate Kess revealed that viewers rarely see the full story:

“Many things happened in the show that weren’t shown to the public. Viewers didn’t see me when I shouted and did something to Amaka, which I thought would earn me a strike, but it didn’t.”
