Actor and businessman Bobby Maris, husband of Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo, has stirred reactions online after voicing his support for women who choose cosmetic surgery to enhance their appearance.
In a viral Instagram video, Maris encouraged women to overcome their fears and embrace body enhancement procedures, stating that surgical transformations can boost confidence and beauty.
He said there’s nothing wrong with women choosing to go under the knife if it helps them feel better about themselves.
> “If you can afford it, go for it. Face your fears and be bold, strong, beautiful, and attractive!”
Maris’ comments came shortly after his wife, Uche Ogbodo, revealed she had undergone a 360 Lipo procedure—a surgery aimed at fat reduction and body contouring.
Ahead of the operation, Uche took to Instagram to seek prayers from her fans. In a video, she appeared excited, dancing in her hospital gown to Lawrence Oyor’s gospel track, Favour.
She wrote:
> “It’s happening today, my Lipo 360 surgery. Please say a little prayer for me. I’m not scared! I trust my doctors, and it will end in praise! Amen.”
This marks Uche Ogbodo’s second cosmetic surgery in less than a year. Earlier in 2025, she had another liposuction procedure to enhance her body shape. The actress has previously opened up about the struggles of postpartum body changes and how these procedures helped her regain self-confidence.
