Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, has again taken a bold stand against domestic violence as tension continues to grow around his sister’s marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Sammy reflected on a popular moral lesson often debated in schools, emphasizing that a good name is better than riches. His post comes amid social media uproar surrounding Ned Nwoko’s recent claims about Regina’s alleged struggle with substance abuse and marital issues.
> “When we had debates in Secondary school on ‘A good name is better than riches,’ na now you go understand! I no dey worship money. Respect is a beautiful thing,”
Sammy West wrote.
The music producer and social media influencer didn’t stop there. In another post, he addressed the issue of domestic violence, urging fans and followers to take a firm stance against abuse in relationships.

he added in a separate post.
This development comes just hours after Sweezzy, Regina Daniels’ elder brother, publicly dismissed Ned Nwoko’s allegations. Ned, in a widely circulated statement, had accused his wife of drug and alcohol abuse, claiming that his attempts to help her seek treatment were resisted.
Sweezzy, however, countered the narrative, hinting that no marriage is perfect and subtly defending his sister’s image. His post read:
> “No perfect couple. Everyone has their issues, but we move.”
Fans have since flooded social media with mixed reactions, with many expressing concern over Regina’s well-being, while others criticized Ned Nwoko for airing private matters publicly.
Regina Daniels, who has maintained a calm front amid the drama, has yet to issue any official statement. Meanwhile, her brothers, Sammy West and Sweezzy, continue to show solidarity, emphasizing respect, peace, and non-violence in relationships.
The Nollywood actress and politician’s union, which once sparked controversy due to their age difference and polygamous setup, has faced several public challenges over the years. Despite this, the couple has often showcased a united front — until now.
