Nollywood star Regina Daniels has returned to social media with a bold message, asserting her confidence and strength amid the ongoing controversy surrounding her marriage to billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two shared captivating photos of herself accompanied by a powerful caption that seemed to hint at her resilience despite recent challenges.

“Even when the table turns, we go still dey chop for the table,” she wrote.

The actress’s post has since attracted widespread attention, with fans praising her confidence and poise in the face of public scrutiny.

Regina’s comeback to social media follows a period of silence after reports emerged about alleged domestic violence in her marriage. Her recent activity online began when she reposted a video shared by a friend, showing her boarding a private jet with her brother, Sammy West, and a few close friends. The video, which captured the actress smiling and relaxed, appeared to signal a renewed sense of peace and independence.

Shortly after, Regina Daniels revealed that she had acquired a new house in the upscale Ikoyi area of Lagos. Sharing photos of the luxurious mansion, she expressed gratitude and hinted that the purchase was a personal decision to create a comfortable space for herself and her family.

“I needed a roof over my head, so I got a house for myself and my family,” she wrote.

The actress’s announcement about her new home comes just days after she publicly spoke out about her alleged ordeal in her marriage. In a viral video last week, Regina was seen in tears, lamenting that despite her public image as a “queen,” she did not feel valued or respected in her husband’s house.

“In my husband’s house, I am not a queen,” she said emotionally in the clip, sparking outrage and sympathy from fans and fellow celebrities.

In response, Senator Ned Nwoko released an official statement addressing the allegations. He dismissed the claims of domestic violence, instead attributing their marital tension to what he described as Regina’s “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.”

According to him, repeated efforts to get his wife professional help have been met with resistance. He further alleged that Regina had displayed violent tendencies, claiming she had assaulted three domestic staff members and damaged property during one of her alleged outbursts.

The controversy deepened when Regina’s brother, Sammy West, came to her defense. In the viral video that first circulated online, he was seen confronting men reportedly sent by Nwoko, accusing the senator of assaulting his sister.

Sammy later took to social media to call out Ned Nwoko, declaring that while he expected trolls to mock his sister online, he would never condone violence against women.

“I know people on the internet will laugh and talk, but I don’t support the beating of any woman,” he said firmly.

Regina’s elder brother, Sweezzy, also weighed in, debunking Ned Nwoko’s claims that the actress was struggling with drug addiction. He reminded the public that no marriage is perfect and urged people not to judge his sister.

“There is no perfect couple,” Sweezzy wrote, standing in solidarity with his sister.

Adding to the ongoing saga, Regina’s younger sister, Destiny Daniels, shared photos of her sister’s alleged injuries, claiming they were inflicted by Ned. She also refuted claims that Regina had reconciled with her husband, insisting that the pictures spoke for themselves.

As the controversy continues to unfold, Regina’s latest post appears to be a statement of strength and self-assurance. Her message — “Even when the table turns, we go still dey chop for the table” — suggests that regardless of how circumstances may change, she intends to remain unshaken and on top of her game.

With her triumphant return to social media, acquisition of a new home, and powerful public statement, Regina Daniels seems determined to reclaim control of her narrative amid the ongoing turbulence surrounding her marriage.
