Reality TV star turned actor, Saga Adeolu, has shed light on how he approaches intimate movie scenes with professionalism and respect, revealing that every on-screen kiss or romantic scene involves a thorough pre-discussion with his co-stars to avoid awkwardness during filming.
In a recent interview with Jay On Air, Saga, who first rose to fame on Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 6: Shine Ya Eye, shared that he treats acting as a craft that requires emotional intelligence and professionalism. “Before I get into kissing any actor, I sit with her and I tell her how we’re gonna go about this,” Saga explained. “I use my hand to describe how it’s gonna be quick. We need to know what it is because you don’t want to have your lips locked and the person is trying to evade your mouth.”
Saga Adeolu, known for his calm demeanor and romantic connection with Nini Singh during the BBNaija show, emphasized that there’s no room for personal emotions when it comes to acting. According to him, every intimate scene must be executed with mutual understanding to maintain on-set professionalism.
Beyond his reality TV fame, Saga has been steadily building a name for himself in Nollywood. The fitness enthusiast and trained engineer revealed that the transition from reality TV star to serious actor wasn’t easy. “I knew people wouldn’t take me seriously until they saw what I could do,” he said. “So I called Liquorose, and we started creating content back-to-back every week for almost two years.”
Saga and Liquorose’s creative collaborations, often shared on social media, showcased his artistic side and helped reshape public perception of him—from a lovestruck BBNaija housemate to a multi-talented entertainer. Today, Saga Adeolu stands as one of the few reality stars who have successfully navigated the entertainment industry, merging fitness, art, and film into a career driven by passion and professionalism.
