“Women Cheat Too, They’re Just Smarter” — Kunle Afod Speaks on Infidelity

 Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afod, has openly showered praises on his wife, Desola Afod, acknowledging her pivotal role in keeping their marriage strong.

During a candid chat with colleague Biola Bayo, Afod admitted that, like every other couple, they face challenges in their home. However, he stressed that any marriage that endures does so because of the woman’s sacrifices and resilience.

 “Any home that survives the test of time, the woman is the one responsible for it. My wife and I have our own issues, just the same way, but it’s every home. But, I want to tell her today that she is the best woman ever,” Afod declared.

Switching gears in the interview, the Yoruba actor also shared his candid thoughts on infidelity and modern relationships. He asserted that women cheat just as much as men, but they are often more discreet.

Afod linked the rising trend of DNA tests to female infidelity, stressing that women’s cleverness in hiding affairs often makes it difficult for men to detect.

 “I believe women cheat just as men, just that they are smarter. Immediately a man starts having an affair, the wife will notice. A man who cheats cheats with a woman, not a wood. The issue of DNA has most women as culprits. This cheating is the same everywhere,” he said.

The filmmaker further sparked controversy by commenting on women’s use of sex toys, suggesting that owning multiple dildos equates to idol worship.

 “Women now cheat to the extent of having multiple dildos. Is one dildo not enough? I don’t want to cheat on my husband, yet you bought a dildo. In my heart, you already worshipped an idol,” Afod added.
