Temitope Ajeyemi, the stepdaughter of Nollywood star Toyin Abraham, has melted hearts with a touching birthday tribute to her stepmother.
Taking to Instagram, Temitope praised the award-winning actress, describing her as a woman full of grace, talent, and inspiration. She went on to pray for greater blessings in Toyin’s life and career.
She wrote:
"Happy OVERSABI Birthday to my Oversabi Mum @toyin_abraham. A woman whose grace, talent, and heart inspire me every day.
May this new year of life shine even brighter than the stage and screen you’ve graced in Jesus’ name, because you deserve nothing less, mummy.
May the light of the Lord shine over your life and career, never dim out in Jesus’ name, AMEN.
I love you, Mum.”
Over the years, Toyin Abraham has also publicly expressed her affection for Temitope. When Temitope turned 18, Toyin described her as a young woman with rare qualities “befitting of a queen” and reaffirmed her love for her. Similarly, during her school graduation, Toyin proudly celebrated her stepdaughter’s milestone with words of encouragement.
Their relationship has been nothing short of beautiful, with Toyin often defending Temitope against online trolls and sharing heartwarming mother-daughter moments. Temitope, in turn, has frequently showcased her admiration by posting pictures and tributes to her stepmother.
Temitope is the daughter of actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, Toyin Abraham’s husband, from a previous relationship.
