Jennifer Odonwodo, widow of the late Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo, has shared a poignant video on Instagram, capturing moments of her late husband and father-in-law. In her heartfelt caption, she expressed the emotional turmoil her family continues to face:

“Some days feel like we are fine. Next minute on the same day feels totally off and still very much in denial. Dear Lord, heal our hearts and keep us safe. Sochima!!”

This tribute comes after the passing of her father-in-law, Ozor Luke Odonwodo, who died a year following his son's tragic death in a boat accident on April 10, 2024. Jennifer's shared video from the burial ceremony poignantly depicts her carrying a wreath to her father-in-law's tomb, with her children actively participating in the rites. They were seen pouring sand onto the coffin, symbolizing their final respects. The ceremony was held at the same church and burial ground where Junior Pope was laid to rest, intensifying the emotional weight of the day.

In her tribute, Jennifer reflected on the shared grief and the questions her children have been asking:

“They keep asking, ‘When is daddy coming home?’ I have no answers.”
