“Lagos Is The Most Amazing City In The World” – Idris Elba

British actor and Hollywood star Idris Elba has praised Lagos, calling it “the most amazing city in the world” and highlighting its vibrant energy and abundant talent.

At the TIFF Tribute Awards, Elba spoke about filming Dust to Dreams in Lagos alongside Seal, who, for the first time, performed using his Nigerian accent.

“Lagos, if you’ve never been, it’s the most amazing place, city in the world. I had a great time. The talent there is incredible,” he said.

Elba, who is of Sierra Leonean and Ghanaian descent, has earned a Golden Globe Award, six Emmy nominations, and three BAFTA nominations. In 2016, Time magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World.
