American rapper Young Thug has sent his congratulations to Nigerian music star Davido and his wife, Chioma, following their grand white wedding in Miami over the weekend.
The highly anticipated ceremony, which Davido revealed cost an impressive $3.7 million, drew attention from fans and celebrities worldwide. Although Young Thug could not attend in person due to a ban on public appearances after his release from jail on October 31, 2024, he still found a way to celebrate with the couple.
The rapper, who pleaded no contest in his RICO case, joined the festivities virtually, FaceTiming Davido and Chioma on their special day to wish them well.
Davido’s aide, Tycoone, shared a screen recording of the call via his Instagram story on Sunday. In the clip, Young Thug could be seen smiling and waving at the couple while Davido’s song Shopping Spree, which features both Young Thug and Chris Brown, played in the background.
The sweet moment added an extra layer of star power to what was already one of the year’s most talked-about celebrity weddings.
