A new Benin epic fantasy film, Osamede, is set to hit cinemas soon, promising audiences a stirring tale that blends history, culture, and mysticism. Set in pre-colonial Benin, Osamede follows the journey of a young orphaned girl, played by Nollywood actress Ivie Okujaye, whose life takes an extraordinary turn when she discovers she possesses otherworldly powers.
