Popular relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has expressed her frustration and anger over the recent arrest of her partner, businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD.
According to reports, IVD was taken into custody at the airport last week while attempting to travel to Qatar. Sources reveal that his arrest is connected to an ongoing domestic violence case involving the death of his wife, Bimbo, in October 2022. The case, which is still being heard in court, allegedly restricts him from leaving the country.
Reacting to the situation, Blessing CEO took to Instagram to confirm the arrest, stressing that no travel restrictions had been placed on IVD. She accused certain individuals of deliberately harassing and intimidating him.
In a now-deleted Instagram Story shared via IVD’s account, Blessing wrote:
“They are pushing me so hard. I will drop this love and come out with my full garment. They are bullying IVD, and it’s getting out of hand. IVD is innocent. Am not a coward, these people are using my man, I won’t tolerate this anymore.”
She also called on the Lagos State Government to intervene, maintaining that IVD is being unfairly treated.
IVD, a well-known auto dealer and father of five, saw his reputation suffer after the tragic death of his wife, Bimbo, on October 15, 2022. The incident followed years of alleged domestic abuse. Since then, he has been at the center of multiple controversies, including accusations of murder, involvement in occult practices, infidelity, and even a connection to a shooting incident at Cubana Club.
Bimbo’s sister, known as Mama Jazz, had publicly accused IVD of being directly responsible for her sister’s death.
