Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has given fans a glimpse into her baby shower, sharing heartwarming clips on Instagram.
The glamorous event had several celebrity faces in attendance, including singer Tiwa Savage, actress Dorcas Fapson, and other close friends who came together to celebrate the soon-to-be mum.
Overflowing with gratitude, Toke described herself as “blessed beyond measure and showered with love.” She revealed that she had the most fun at her shower and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby girl.

This baby shower comes after Toke announced her pregnancy earlier on social media with a stunning maternity shoot, later confirming through her vlog that she is expecting a baby girl.
Since sharing her big news, the former OAP has been open about her journey, regularly posting uplifting messages for her fans. In a recent podcast, she broke down in tears while recounting her struggles, revealing that she had prayed to God to become a mother by the time she turned 40. According to her, that prayer was answered just a month after her milestone birthday.
The media star also graced the cover of Marie Claire magazine, where she candidly admitted she once battled fear about her pregnancy, worrying over what could go wrong. She confessed she wanted to hide her joy but later found peace in remembering that “the gift of the Lord makes so much riches without adding sorrow.”
