Renowned broadcaster and media leader Morayo Afolabi-Brown has officially resigned from her role at TVC Communications, closing a significant chapter in her 12-year career with the media outfit.
The news of her departure was made public in a statement issued on Monday by Edward Akintara, the company’s head of public relations, corporate communications, and marketing. He confirmed that her final day with the organisation will be Thursday, August 29, 2025.
TVC revealed that Morayo is stepping away to pursue a personal project she has been passionate about for some time.
“We celebrate her for the incredible impact she has made, not only on Your View, but also to millions of viewers across Nigeria and beyond,” the company stated.
While acknowledging her exit as a significant moment, the network reassured the public that Your View would continue to air with the same standard and relevance.
“Morayo will be dearly missed, however, the show remains strong and will continue to deliver the quality and relevance our audience has come to expect,” the statement read.
Appreciating her dedication and leadership over the years, TVC described her as a source of inspiration and extended heartfelt wishes for her future endeavours.
“Her legacy at TVC Communications will endure, and she will always remain a cherished member of the TVC family,” the company added.
