The draw for the league phase of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League was conducted on Thursday, revealing the fixtures for the 36 participating teams.
This season, the competition will continue using the “Swiss-style” league format instead of the traditional group stage. Under this system, all 36 teams compete in the league phase, with the top eight clubs advancing directly to the knockout rounds. Teams finishing in positions nine to 24 will enter a two-legged playoff for a place in the last 16, while the remaining 25th to 36th ranked teams are eliminated from the tournament.
