Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has responded to ongoing speculation about keeping her husband out of the public eye.
Since marrying in 2019, the actress has remained extremely private about her relationship, especially regarding the identity of her husband, who is also the father of her two children. On social media, Kadiri typically shares only partial glimpses of him—photos featuring his hands or the back of his head.
However, during a recent appearance on Dear Ife, a podcast hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri set the record straight.
“I’m not hiding my husband, we attend events together and I post him, just that people don’t know him,” she said.
Kadiri emphasized that her husband’s low profile is not a deliberate attempt at secrecy, but rather a reflection of his privacy and the public’s unfamiliarity with him.
Earlier this year, in a separate interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress also opened up about how she dealt with social media trolls who mocked her engagement ring. Admitting to having a petty side, she shared that she confronted the critics directly by visiting their pages and responding to them personally.
Despite public curiosity, Kadiri continues to shield her husband's full identity, choosing to maintain a balance between her personal and professional life.
