Controversial Nigerian street-pop sensation, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known by his stage name Portable, has rejected a ₦100 million proposal to engage in a physical showdown with popular social media personality and activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The heated feud between Portable and VeryDarkMan erupted after the singer took offense to VDM's harsh criticism of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. In response, Portable publicly lashed out, triggering a back-and-forth exchange that has since taken over social media platforms.
Both entertainers have escalated their rivalry by dropping multiple diss tracks, hurling verbal jabs, and exchanging claims as their online clash continues to trend.
In a now-viral video, Portable dismissed the ₦100 million offer as an insult, insisting that he commands far more value due to his massive fanbase and street credibility.
"That ₦100m, my fans give it to me. ₦100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him," Portable declared.
The Zazuu Zeh crooner stressed that only a ₦1 billion fee would be enough motivation to take on VeryDarkMan in a physical altercation.
This public spat between two of Nigeria’s most outspoken personalities continues to gain momentum online, with fans weighing in and fueling the drama across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Portable vs VeryDarkMan beef as it unfolds.
