Street-hop artist Portable has reignited controversy with the release of a fresh diss track that calls out Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and several other well-known Nigerians.
The drama stems from a recently leaked WhatsApp group chat linked to the ongoing investigation into the death of singer Mohbad. The chat, exposed by social media critic Verydarkman, contained messages reportedly from Tonto Dikeh expressing concern about the possible release of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, both of whom have been linked to the late singer’s case.
Tonto also allegedly referenced sensitive information from a supposed DSS source—raising questions about how classified updates are being shared within private circles.
Amid the growing buzz, Portable dropped a diss track addressing the group directly. In the song, he asked who created the chat group and made it clear he had no involvement or ties with its members. He also insisted he was never part of the so-called “inner circle,” distancing himself from the unfolding scandal.
Portable didn’t hold back—using the track to throw shots not only at the Nollywood stars but also at Verydarkman’s fanbase, known online as the Ratel. This move has added fuel to their long-standing feud, which has played out over several online spats and previous diss tracks.
Weeks earlier, Verydarkman had also released a diss track mocking Portable for allegedly stealing a tricycle. That song also took jabs at Edo State governor Monday Okpebholo’s WAEC result and ridiculed Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin’s controversial miracle water promotion.
With this new release, Portable has once again planted himself in the heart of a messy public dispute—keeping both his critics and fans locked into his ever-growing web of drama.
