A powerful new Nollywood historical drama is set to hit the big screen this year, as Patrick Diabuah takes on one of the most demanding roles of his career in Amanyanabo: The Eagle King. The film, which is already generating early buzz, will premiere in the UK on August 29, with a Nigerian release scheduled for September 12.
In Amanyanabo: The Eagle King, Diabuah plays the lead role of Ibanichuka, a fearless Okrika warrior unexpectedly called to rule his people during a turbulent era.
