Femi Fani-Kayode Reportedly Marries Third Wife in Private Traditional Ceremony

Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has reportedly taken a third wife in a quiet and private traditional ceremony.

According to a report by blogger Linda Ikeji, the outspoken politician recently formalized his relationship with his longtime partner, Adaugo, in a low-key event attended by close friends and family. The couple had been dating for over two years before finally sealing their union traditionally.

Adaugo, who is 29 years old, hails from Abia State and is said to be a successful entrepreneur in the interior design industry. Known for her elegance and poise, she has built a thriving business and is admired for her creative eye and business acumen. Sources close to her describe her as “kind, gentle, and highly respectful.” She is also a devout Pentecostal Christian and a graduate of one of Nigeria’s top private universities.

This new marriage marks Fani-Kayode’s third. He was first married to Yemisi Olasunbo Adeniji, with their union lasting from 1991 to 1995. Years later, in 2014, he married former beauty queen Precious Chikwendu. However, their marriage ended in a widely publicized breakup in 2020. Fani-Kayode and Precious share four sons together.

The news of his latest marriage has sparked mixed reactions online, with some congratulating the couple while others reflect on Fani-Kayode’s complex relationship history. Neither Fani-Kayode nor Adaugo has made a public statement regarding the union, maintaining the discreet nature of the ceremony.
