Drama as Peller Sends Cameraman Away After He Arrives With Bags Uninvited

Content creator and comedian Peller has opened up about why he cut ties with his former cameraman — a graduate he had hired and paid ₦500,000 upfront.

In a video clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Peller was seen having a candid conversation with fellow skit maker Carter Efe, who asked him about the cameraman’s sudden disappearance.

Peller explained that the fallout stemmed from what he considered a major overstep. According to him, after receiving the ₦500K payment, the cameraman unexpectedly showed up at his house with his bag and belongings, claiming he had nowhere else to stay.

“He doesn’t know book. I gave him five hundred thousand upfront,” Peller said.

“Then he came with a bag to my house saying he was chased from where he was staying, and that it was because I helped him. What kind of talk is that one?”

Peller made it clear that the house wasn’t even his own, and he felt disrespected by the cameraman assuming he could move in without being invited.

“I’m not the owner of that place. I don’t like him. Had it been that place is my place, normally I should be the one to tell him to come. I thought he had a house.”

He went on to reveal why he specifically hired a graduate in the first place — stating that he needed someone with an academic background who could assist him professionally, especially during travels to places like the U.S.

“The guy knows books. The reason I employed a graduate is because if I go to some places like America… you know I’m not academically sound. I employed him so he could help me in places that matter.”

Peller’s comments have since sparked reactions online, with fans weighing in on whether the cameraman crossed the line or simply needed help.
