Veteran American actor Joe Marinelli, known for his role in The Morning Show and appearances in numerous television series, has passed away at the age of 68.
According to reports, Marinelli died on Sunday after a prolonged battle with throat and stomach cancer. His wife, Jean Marinelli, confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paying tribute, actor and filmmaker Mark Duplass, who starred alongside him in The Morning Show, described Marinelli as a rare and inspiring figure.
“We have lost a great one. Joe Marinelli lived in the rare air,” Duplass said. “He was a generous performer, beautiful human, wide-eyed positivist. I will miss him dearly. I will try to live my life a bit more like his. We all should.”
