Sola Ogudugu Rebukes Follower for Referring to Her as Wizkid’s Wife

Sola Ogudugu, the mother of Wizkid’s first child, has addressed a follower on Instagram who repeatedly refers to her as the singer’s wife.

The social media user had commented under one of her posts, calling her “Iyawo Ibrahim” (meaning “Ibrahim’s wife” — Ibrahim being Wizkid’s first name), and added, “Every day is a holiday!”

Reacting to the comment, Sola expressed her displeasure, making it clear that she does not appreciate such labels. She emphasized that while she typically avoids responding to public speculation, this recurring type of comment is affecting her personally.

“I’m not one to address anything, whether true or false. But this type of comment on every single one of my posts is actually very detrimental to me actually being ‘Iyawo Somebody’ one day,” she stated.

Sola continued, “Constantly commenting shit like this is not a good look. I actually really and truly dislike it. Let this be the last of this delusional type of comment, please. Thanks and God bless you.”

Her response has sparked conversations online, with many praising her for setting boundaries and speaking up for herself.
