Nollywood actress Nneoma Ukpabi, who recently went viral over her bold outfit at Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding, has issued a stern warning to veteran actress Rita Edochie following public criticism.
The controversy began after Nneoma’s wedding guest attire—which exposed significant cleavage—sparked a wave of reactions on social media.
While some praised her confidence, many others, including Rita Edochie, took issue with the choice of clothing, especially considering the formal setting.
In her response to the viral clip, Rita Edochie expressed strong disapproval, using the opportunity to remind the public of the significance of white weddings and the importance of modesty.
She questioned how future generations, particularly children, would perceive such online displays and stated that she has “zero tolerance for indecency”, warning that she wouldn’t hesitate to react harshly to inappropriate dressing in her presence.
Reacting to Rita’s remarks, Nneoma Ukpabi clapped back, making it clear she would not tolerate being singled out. She issued a warning to the veteran, cautioning her to stop mentioning her name in public discourse.
“Don’t let us wash our secret linen on the internet space. Remove my name from your mouth,” Nneoma said, hinting at unresolved personal issues between them and threatening to expose private matters if the criticism continued.
