The online clash between Nigerian singer Portable and Nollywood actress Laide Bakare continues to heat up.
Laide took to Instagram to respond to fans pleading for leniency on Portable’s behalf. She urged them to stop, pointing out that Portable’s behavior remains problematic. She claimed the singer wants more than what he initially asked and insisted it’s time he faced the consequences. She wrote, “To everyone pleading on his behalf, pls stop, you can see he is not behaving. @portablebaeby needs more than he asked from me. And it is time to collect. @laide.bakarehub also deserve justice, pls.”
Portable fired back in her comment section, accusing Laide of using him for attention. He wrote, “You just wan use me trend. Na you go do interview say your brother na werey. He no go better for you people wey dey enter you online. Why you no fit drag them? Who dey come sef dey fear. Just because you call me for show I no come. You drag me, I drag you.”
The confrontation escalated when Portable shared an audio recording of a conversation between them on his Instagram story, adding fuel to the ongoing dispute.
