Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has ignited mixed reactions online after participating in the viral ‘Get Ready With Me’ TikTok trend in an unconventional way.
In a recently circulated video, Rosy—who is married to businessman Olakunle Churchill—was seen outside the iconic Louvre Museum in Paris dressed in nothing but bath towels. The clip, part of the popular transformation trend on TikTok, has triggered a wave of commentary on social media.
Some internet users were less than impressed. One user, @naturalpimp, slammed the trend as “Very classless.” Another commenter, @tega_hagelberg, sarcastically remarked, “Thank God she’s light-skinned, she could represent any community.”
Others expressed disapproval over her decision as a married woman. “So your husband open his eyes and allow you to do this nonsense content,” wrote @chidimmaochonga. Another, @mr_btmt11, commented, “Is not every content you should do as a married woman with shame.”
Adding to the backlash, @nurse_gigi_mbappe stated, “Unbelievably coming from her. Well, there is nothing marital crisis can’t make desperados do.” Similarly, @hairess_gallery added, “Roseline please order any amount shame online or anywhere, I’ll pay. No matter the cost.”
The video also reignited chatter surrounding her well-known rift with actress Tonto Dikeh. “Thank God Tonto ignored her because it’s obvious this is always their goal, to trend,” wrote @sekou_jr.
While some comments took a more humorous tone, like @esther_comic’s “She for bathe outside,” the general sentiment leaned toward criticism, with many calling the act inappropriate for someone in her position.
