Former Nigerian First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, recently shared an emotional testimony during a church service after achieving a significant academic milestone—earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
During her testimony, Dame Patience expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for granting her the strength to complete her studies. She highlighted the challenges she faced balancing academic life with her public responsibilities but emphasized that her faith carried her through.
"I thank God for seeing me through this journey," she said. "It wasn’t easy, but with God, all things are possible."
The former First Lady, who has long been involved in education and women’s empowerment, described the achievement as a dream come true. She encouraged the congregation, especially young women, to pursue their goals despite difficulties.
“This is a testimony that it is never too late to learn and grow. Let us never give up on our dreams,” she added.
Her accomplishment has since been celebrated widely, with many Nigerians congratulating her for the inspiring achievement.
