Nollywood appears to be witnessing a fallout between former friends and actresses Doris Ogala and Tonto Dikeh. Doris recently took to Instagram to call out Tonto for allegedly enlisting others to tarnish her image online.
In a now-viral post, Doris shared a screenshot featuring Sheddy of Lagos, a close associate of Tonto, who publicly criticized her character. Sheddy accused Doris of being ungrateful and bitter, claiming that Tonto once gifted her a brand-new Bentley. He also made strong remarks about her self-worth.
“Dear @dorisogala, how can you be so ungrateful and bitter?” Sheddy wrote. “Same you, King Tonto gave a brand new Bentley? Just so you know, King Tonto is not your problem; your low self-esteem is. You need to love yourself first before you can love anyone. In all, you need peace. I speak peace into your chaotic life.”
Doris, in a sharp response, denied ever receiving a Bentley and insinuated that Sheddy’s attack was instigated by Tonto herself.
“I don’t know who you are,” she fired back. “I believe Tonto sent you to do this because I’ve never met or discussed Bentley with you. If your Tonto claims she gifted me Bentley, let her say it herself.”
She also issued a warning against further public defamation, adding, “Next time you mention my name on your page in such a defamatory and cyberbullying way, I will have you arrested.”
Calling on @ohikuherbals—apparently a mutual acquaintance—to step in, Doris pleaded, “Mama, before you mediate again, explain why Tonto is recruiting people. Trust me, this may not end well. I’m not your regular girl.”
The public exchange has drawn widespread attention, further highlighting the strained relationship between the two actresses.
