The content creator behind the viral video involving House on the Rock founder, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has finally broken his silence.
In a recent interview with Daddy Freeze, he clarified the circumstances that led to the controversial footage, which sparked public outrage over claims that the popular pastor was seen holding a gun while driving in Lagos.
According to the content creator, the incident happened around the Ikoyi roundabout, where he had been filming luxury cars, particularly Range Rovers, for content purposes. He explained that he hailed Pastor Adefarasin’s car excitedly when he recognized the vehicle, unaware that the situation would escalate.
“I didn’t move close to the car, I even moved back sef,” he said. “I was just saying ‘Boss, Boss.’ As he parked, I was happy. I thought he just wanted to acknowledge me.”
The content creator claimed that Pastor Adefarasin rolled down the window and politely told him to stop filming before driving off. He emphasized that he wasn’t being aggressive and had no intentions of invading the pastor’s privacy.
Regarding the object in Adefarasin’s hand, which many online speculated was a gun, the creator confessed he couldn’t confirm what it was. “As he left, I didn’t know what was in his hand. I sha see one stuff in his hand, but I didn’t not know…”
This revelation contradicts earlier assumptions that Pastor Adefarasin was brandishing a firearm. The pastor had also addressed the matter, assuring his congregation that he does not own a gun.
As the debate simmers, the video creator's clarification adds new perspective to the saga, easing concerns over alleged threats and drawing attention to the potential consequences of social media misinterpretation.
