Skit maker and singer Carter Efe has reportedly lost access to his Instagram account with 1.8 million followers following a controversial remark about Afrobeats star Wizkid.
The content creator had gone live on Instagram, where he described Wizkid as an “idiot boy” and accused him of being proud — a statement that quickly stirred backlash online, particularly among Wizkid’s fanbase, known as FC.
Shortly after the live video went viral, Carter Efe took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that his Instagram page had been taken down, blaming Wizkid’s fans for reporting his account.
“Fc una collect my Instagram account of 1.8Million followers 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔,” he posted.
In another emotional post, he expressed continued admiration for the Grammy-winning artiste despite the incident, writing:
“I love him with everything I have in my immune systems ❤️🥺
But the fans are going wild for the first son💔
They betrayed me in the last minute
Still love you Dad❤️”
As of now, his Instagram page remains inaccessible.
