Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Banky W, in honour of Father’s Day, expressing admiration for his dedication to family, faith, and excellence.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of two praised Banky W for consistently striving for excellence in every aspect of his life — from academics and spirituality to his roles as a husband and father. She described him as “phenomenal” and revealed how watching their son emulate him has become her favourite part of seeing him father their children.
Adesua wrote:
“EXCELLENCE.
Every time I think about you, I think about the weight of excellence—the commitment to going above and beyond in everything you do. You have perfected the art of excellence, no matter the end result. You are committed. You are never average, never taking the easy road, and you make it look easy. I know it’s not.
Whether finishing a Master’s degree with all A’s in one of the most tasking years of our lives or serving God or your devotion as a husband or a father, you do it excellently.
My favourite thing about watching you being a father is watching Zaiah emulate you. Zekiah isn’t too far behind either. Knowing that it’s not just about what they hear Papa say, but also about all they see Papa do, and you do a lot. With grace, kindness, strength, purpose, and truckloads of love. A life of service to others.
Olubankole, you are one of one, the blueprint, THE man.
I wish I could share all the things you do, but I guard it jealously. You are phenomenal.
