Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has opened up about her decision to keep her personal life—particularly her marriage and family—away from the public eye. According to her, choosing peace over publicity has been intentional.
“I got married quietly. No big announcement, no noise, just love, peace, and understanding,” Ruth said, emphasizing the serenity she’s found in her low-key approach.
The actress revealed that her husband, who is not part of the entertainment industry, values his privacy and prefers staying off social media—a preference she fully supports.
“People always ask, ‘Ruth, why don’t you post your husband’s pictures?’ My answer is simple: happiness is not about proving anything to the world,” she shared.
Since becoming a mother, Ruth says her appreciation for her husband has only deepened.
“Watching him be a father to our daughters melts my heart. He’s gentle, firm, and very protective of his family,” she added, reflecting on the joy and admiration she feels watching him parent.
