In a heartfelt and extensive post on her Instagram page, Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie shared her strong belief in the pivotal role women play in building and sustaining families. She emphasized that “99 per cent of the success of every home is to the credit of every right-thinking woman,” clarifying that she was referring specifically to monogamous households.
She highlighted the immense strength women bring to family life, stating, “The woman is the stamina of every home, providing the foundation upon which families are built.” According to her, a woman's influence is far-reaching, shaping the moral compass, values, and overall character of those she loves.
“Behind every successful home, there lies an unsung hero who toils tirelessly, often without recognition or accolades,” she wrote. “This hero is none other than the woman of the house, who brings unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unshakeable resilience to the table.”
Reiterating her earlier assertion, she noted, “It is estimated that a staggering 99% of every home’s success can be attributed to the selfless efforts of these remarkable women.” From running households to nurturing emotional bonds, women play a critical role in fostering an environment filled with love and warmth.
She concluded by celebrating the enduring contributions of women, writing, “Their contributions are invaluable, their impact immeasurable, and their love unconditional. As we celebrate the women who make our homes shine, let us honour their strength, courage and resilience.”
