Michelle Gentry, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, made a stunning appearance at the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), held on Saturday at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos.
Marking her debut at the prestigious event, Michelle took to Instagram to share dazzling photos of her outfit, a pink fairytale-inspired gown. Expressing her excitement, she wrote, “My 1st AMVCA wearing my favorite color.”
Her look drew admiration from fans and celebrities alike. Public figures such as Ashabi (Portable’s babymama), Kiekie, Priscilla Ojo, and Emmanuel Good News filled her comments section with praise for her elegant appearance.
Michelle was at the event in support of her mother, Mercy Aigbe, whose film Thinline received a nomination. Mercy has been making waves in Nollywood, with her cinema debut Ada Omo Daddy earning N187 million and ranking as the third highest-grossing film of 2023. This achievement came despite fierce competition from major industry players like Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
