Nollywood actress Mide Martins recently commemorated the 23rd remembrance of her late mother, reflecting on the emotional milestone with her film crew.
In a heartfelt message shared on Tuesday, the Yoruba actress expressed how it felt like only yesterday that her mother passed away.
“It’s been 23 years now,” she wrote, describing her late mother as a rare gem and “a real angel in human skin.” Mide went on to reveal that she still sheds tears whenever she thinks of her mother, showcasing the enduring love and sorrow she feels.
To honor her mother’s memory, Mide celebrated the occasion by sharing food with her film crew. She also posted a video on her Instagram page showing herself and the crew on set, holding a prayer together.
In her post, the wife of Afeez Owo expressed deep gratitude and prayed for her mother’s soul to continue resting in peace. “Alhamdulilahi Alhamdulilahi Alhamdulilahi. My Mama’s remembrance celebration with my people at work!! Continue to rest in perfect peace, my dear mama. We all miss you greatly,” she wrote.
