A Nigerian man has openly expressed his displeasure with popular actor-turned-politician Desmond Elliot, stating that he has harbored resentment toward him ever since the lawmaker criticized Nigerian youths during the EndSARS protests. According to the man, Elliot's comments felt like a betrayal, especially coming from someone who once enjoyed widespread support from the younger generation.
He explained that seeing Desmond Elliot's social media posts now evokes anger in him, as he has not been able to move past the actor's remarks. "Ever since Desmond Elliot spoke ill of Nigerian youth, I’ve hated seeing him," the man declared, reflecting the deep emotional impact Elliot's statement had on some Nigerians.
