Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, delivered an energetic set at the Africa Day event organised by the Bill Gates Foundation in Seattle, Washington.
The Nigerian DJ and philanthropist shared her excitement ahead of the performance on Snapchat, expressing disbelief and gratitude. “Can’t believe I get to DJ for the Bill Gates Foundation in Seattle. So grateful that my talent keeps taking me to places I never imagined and putting me in front of the most incredible people,” she wrote.
After the event, Cuppy also shared her thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter. She posted: “It still dey shock me. @BillGates, please thank your amazing team for inviting me to perform for Africa Day. From Lagos to Seattle… It’s surreal that my small DJ talent keeps taking me around the world. Purpose and passion are a powerful combo. All glory to God.”
The performance is the latest in a series of high-profile appearances by DJ Cuppy, whose work continues to gain recognition on global platforms.
