Afrobeats sensation Davido has stirred excitement and curiosity among fans after posting a blurred image of a paycheck on Instagram, partially revealing the figure as “$11” followed by obscured digits. The post, which included laughing emojis and the caption “Casssahaaat!”, quickly ignited online discussions.
Though the full amount wasn’t disclosed, many speculate the check is worth around $11 million—equivalent to approximately 1.7 billion naira.
This comes shortly after Davido faced criticism for flaunting his extravagant lifestyle, including a $500,000 set of diamond-studded teeth and a $2 million custom necklace. While some fans continue to praise his success, others are questioning the need for such public displays of wealth.
