The sex trafficking trial involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken a disturbing turn as prosecutors alleged that he once forced a male escort to urinate in the mouth of his former partner, Cassie Ventura.

Opening statements were delivered on May 12, shortly after the jury was selected. Combs, who has denied all allegations, is facing multiple charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson, the shocking incident allegedly happened during one of Diddy’s infamous “freak offs”—sex-fueled parties that reportedly featured male escorts and women who were allegedly coerced into participating.

Johnson told jurors that during one of these gatherings, Combs “forced the escort to urinate in Cassie’s mouth,” after which she reportedly said she “felt like she was choking.”

Prosecutors also referenced a 2016 surveillance video that appeared online, allegedly showing Combs physically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway—an incident they claim supports a pattern of abuse.

Testifying under oath, male escort Daniel Phillip claimed he was paid thousands of dollars per encounter to have sex with Cassie, often under Combs’ direction.

“Cassie was actually the one that asked me [to] urinate on her,” Phillip told the court. “She asked me if I had ever done that before, then told me to do it. Apparently, I wasn’t doing it right, because they both corrected me.”

He added, “I felt like I was dealing with someone who had unlimited power. Even if I went to the police, I believed I could still lose my life.”

Combs’ legal team has responded by stating their intent to argue that Cassie was a willing participant in what they describe as a mutually abusive relationship. Ventura is expected to testify later in the trial.

The Bad Boy Records founder was arrested on September 16, 2024, in Manhattan and later indicted by federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York.

Authorities allege that Combs has sexually abused more than 120 individuals, including women, men, and a 9-year-old boy. If found guilty of racketeering, he could be sentenced to life imprisonment. A conviction on the sex trafficking charge carries a mandatory minimum of 15 years.
