“Airports, Nightclubs, Even Restrooms” – I Go Save Decries Begging Among Nigerians

Nigerian comedian I Go Save has expressed concern over the growing trend of begging across public spaces in the country.

Taking to his Instagram story, the comedian highlighted how begging has become increasingly common in locations such as airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, parks, and other public areas. While acknowledging the economic hardship many Nigerians face, he urged citizens to moderate their approach to seeking help.

“The rate of begging in this country’s public space is alarming,” he wrote. “Airports, nightclubs, restrooms, restaurants, parks, et al.—it’s everywhere. I know say country hard but make una calm down o!”

Despite his frustration, I Go Save emphasized the need for empathy and support among Nigerians, urging people to help others when they can.

“Na the same country we dey. Abeg, help who you can sha,” he added.
