President Bola Tinubu has congratulated 15-year-old Nigerian artist, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, for setting a new Guinness World Record with the world’s largest art canvas, titled Impossibility Is a Myth. The record-breaking artwork, measuring an impressive 12,303.87 square meters, was unveiled at Eagle Square in Abuja to mark the 2025 World Autism Awareness Day.
Tagbo-Okeke, who is autistic, has gained international recognition for his unique and inspiring art. In a message posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, President Tinubu praised the young artist’s creativity and resilience, stating, "You said, ‘Impossibility is a myth,’ and you set out to prove that impossibility was nothing. Your story has made history, and Nigeria is proud of you."
The teenager’s remarkable achievement is a testament to his extraordinary determination and talent, as he continues to use his art to advocate for children with autism. His father, Tagbo Okeke, shared that his son’s passion for color and structured routines helped unlock his creative potential from a young age.
Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, also commended Tagbo-Okeke’s achievement, emphasizing that age and challenges should not limit greatness. She described the record as a powerful reminder that remarkable feats can be accomplished, regardless of obstacles.
