The much-anticipated Nigerian Idol Season 10 has officially launched today, April 20, 2025, ushering in another exciting chapter in Nigeria’s biggest music talent competition. Back on the Idol stage for the fifth consecutive season is none other than media personality IK Osakioduwa, known for his charisma and sharp wit. His presence has become a familiar comfort for fans, and his hosting continues to add flavor to the show’s weekly episodes.

Auditions Go Digital for Wider Reach
To make the competition more inclusive, online auditions were held earlier this year from January 17 to February 2, giving thousands of aspiring singers across Nigeria a chance to shine from the comfort of their homes. Hopefuls aged 16 to 30 submitted 30-second singing videos, and the best were chosen to move forward to the theatre-week episodes.
When to Watch
The Season 10 of Nigerian Idol will air from April 20 to July 13, 2025, with early episodes focusing on auditions and theatre week. The live shows will begin on May 25 and will be broadcast on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49.
