Afrobeats sensation Rema has announced the release of his upcoming single, ‘Bout U’, marking his second offering of the year.
The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker shared a preview of the track on social media, along with the release date: April 11.
“Bout U - 4/11,” he wrote in the post, sending fans into a frenzy as they anticipate what’s next from the young star.
The upcoming single comes just months after the February release of his first 2025 track, ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, which notably sampled Sade Adu’s 1985 classic of the same name.
Rema, born Divine Ikubor, rose to fame after signing with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, in 2019.
Since then, he has become one of the standout figures in the Afrobeats scene, with international hits and a rapidly growing fanbase.
The 24-year-old recently declared himself one of the greats of the genre, clarifying that his confidence stems not from arrogance but from years of hard work and consistency.
